ACCESS TO ‘WORLD eBOOK LIBRARY’ AT JUIT CAMPUS

We are pleased to inform you that our institute has been provided access to one of the largest databases of ebooks and articles. It covers books related to education, research, biographies, fiction, literature, dictionaries, encyclopedias and various other diversified areas of knowledge. The access is provided by NDL through INFLIBNET.

The World eBook Library can be accessed from http://community.worldlibrary.in/?AffiliateKey=NDL-WC1724  or the link is also provided at http://www.juit.ac.in/lrc/eResources.php under list of various e-resources accessible to JUIT.    There is no need of using login ID/Password, as this is accessible on IP range of the campus.

JOIN THE NATIONAL DIGITAL LIBRARY

This is to bring your kind notice that 80 lakh digital resources are now available at one single portal called National Digital Library (NDL), an initiative by HRD ministry and IIT Kharagpur. One can read and download the books for reading purpose at no cost. The collection of books comprised of textbooks, manuscripts, articles, audio and video contents etc. The National Digital Library provides support to academics and lifelong learning process in all areas of learning, it envelops contents from primary to PG level.

LIBRARY ‘LOCKER FACILITY’ NOTICE

The JUIT Library has started ‘locker’ allocation process to the Ph.D students (research scholars) for one academic year. Therefore, the interested research scholars are requested to submit ‘application for allotment of lockers’ form to the Librarian on or before 31^st August 2017. Application forms are available at the Library Circulation Counter.

This ‘locker facility’ is being offered ‘free of charge’ to the research scholars.
