ON DEMAND LIBRARY ORIENTATION FOR NEW STUDENTS
ON DEMAND LIBRARY ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
(From 16th August to 31st August, 2019)

NOTICE
This is to inform all
students that Learning Resource Center (Library) is arranging on-demand library
orientation for B. Tech/M. Tech/M.Sc/PhD students.
Students who have missed library
orientation due to late registration or any other reasons may register their
names, along with preferred date to have library orientation, on the register
available at Library Circulation Counter. You may record your preference as per the
schedule given below:

Please note that we will be accommodating
12-15 students in every orientation batch, therefore, second preference of
day/date may also be mentioned.
Program Objectives:
Ø To
familiarize students with the library Facility, Resources and Services.
Ø How to Log-on
to Library WEB-OPAC and how to make use of it.
Ø To acquaint
students with digital library or other quality resources available online.
Ø How to
locate needed resources in the library collection.
Ø Know where
to go for assistance from the library staff.
This program is beneficial to all new
students.

membership forms and have submit along with one photograph in order to get book
issued from the library by 05th Aug 2019.
